Yoon Achanak Neend Khuli........

Rain hit India a little earlier this year i.e. 2013. Its pouring down heavily here in Vadodara/Baroda since last night.

I was on medication for cough and cold (due to this sudden season change, Mujhe adat hai). As usual, everyday, I was have a chat with few friends. It went on till 12.a.m. I can still hear the sound of rain on the sheets of my threshold (desi bhash mein Ghar ka Chapra).

Medicines was doing their work. I gave up and said bye to all online friends, otherwise my cough is firing all the magazine and disturbing others. I slept, keeping aside all the peripherals from my high-tech communicating device i.e my laptop and SmartPhone.

At around 2 a.m., I suddenly woke up. Coming to the sense, anger filled my eye. Stupid dogs. They were barking like they are passing a Bill in Parliament. I went out to investigate (Hud Hud Dabaangg  Dabaangg). As usual, dogs are way faraway just like a politician and his scam.

Coming back to the situation, as I stepped my foot in the dark night (not like Dark Knight aka Batman) I was mesmorized with the scene outside. Few mercury lamps were glowing. Rain was stopped. A mild coldness prevailing. I stopped for the moment. Dogs was out of my mind. Just for few seconds, I enjoyed the scene. A beautiful dark night after heavy pouring rain, a pin drop silence, a soothing coldness after a hard summer, mercury street light are filtering from trees and a mist of fog. Then BANG...this happens (though I wrote it in morning):


Tez baucharon ne kuch dhundla sa sama bandh diya,
Is garmi se tap rahi dharaa ki trishna ko Shant kiya,
Andheri is raat mein,
Footpath ki roshni CHCHanti aa rahi hai pedo se,
Chai ghaani si dhund,
Aur Dhund mein ek chehra dikhai diya.

Dhund hati to haqiqat nazar ayi,
to ye dil ghatao se bola,
Pagal, ye kise yaad dila diya...


So folks, this was it for the day. I came back and slept.
